Download Ceto v0.2.0 for Windows x64.
Version 0.2.0 is published as an experimental prerelease.
The requirements below apply to building Rhea from source.
Build requirements
- A C++17 compiler and the platform development tools.
- CMake 3.24 or newer.
- Git to obtain the engine checkout.
- Python 3 for build-time Fabric and type registry generation.
- Native dependencies required by the selected platform and graphics backends.
- Network access when CMake downloads missing dependencies.
On Windows with MSVC, use a developer terminal. Ninja is required only when using a Ninja generator or preset. See Project Status for the platform validation status.
Obtain the engine
Clone the engine repository:
git clone https://github.com/rhea-engine/rhea.git
cd rhea
The engine repository root contains Rhea/, Poseidon/, and the top-level CMakeLists.txt.
Use a published release tag or known commit for reproducible builds when available. Keep your engine revision aligned with the documentation you follow.
